Sometimes we need to just take a step back and look at the whole picture.

While the scriptures are full of prophecies that have been fulfilled, are now being fulfilled and/or have yet to be fulfilled, we also have prophets in these, The Last Days, to help remind us and give us the proper perspective of our own place in time.  When we're in the heat of it all- living it as it happens- it is easy to forget just how significant these events are and how they are preparing the way for the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I believe with all my heart that Ezra Taft Benson was a prophet of God and that he was fearless when it came to calling evil out for what it was (is).  For this he was very unpopular- even among many of the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints- because, as he said himself, he was not here to "tickle our ears".  He knew evil for what it was and he wasn't afraid to speak out and warn against it.

President Benson had his time and season in mortality appointed by The Lord and he left a legacy of perspective and prophecy that cannot be denied nor ignored.  It is on this note that I share the following two videos.
